Greetings,

Nice Bass Sports is the current home of me, Conor O’Connell, an aspiring sports journalist/content creator/opinionated fan of sports. I have a lot of thoughts and ideas, which is why I’ve got a website. And the plan, is to put a lot of content on here. I’m talking about articles, videos, podcasts, you name it. I have a love for the Detroit Lions and I’m not afraid to use it.

Currently, I’m a student at Swansea University studying an MA in Sports Communication and Journalism which I’ll hope to complete by September 2023. After that, I’m out in the wild with only my sports media know-how and my background in film making to help me. 

My goals for then will be to hopefully catch on somewhere and secure steady employment, while my long term goals is to build up enough industry credibility to go freelance and carve my little corner in the sports media landscape.
